How It Works

  1. Contact: Reachout to EasyEHM with details about the situation and the location of the person in custody or the nature of the charges.

  2. Assessment: We  assess the situation (e.g., house arrest, GPS monitoring, court-ordered monitoring) and recommend the appropriate type of monitoring. We also review relevant documents (court orders, probation orders) to determine service conditions, including zone or schedule restrictions.

  3. Installation Planning: After determining the monitoring type and conditions, we arrange to meet with you for installation scheduling and payment. The installing agent coordinates the installation process and any customer requirements (e.g., bond clearance, probation notification).

  4. Installation: The installation occurs either before or after release, accompanied by an explanation and signing of the Monitoring Agreement with GPS Monitoring & Tracking Services. The enrollee receives detailed information about conditions and a contact checklist. You provide a schedule of locations

  5. Post-Installation Support: We initiate post-installation contact once the unit is in place and you are familiar with charging, equipment maintenance, and monitoring restrictions.

  6. Program Completion: Upon receiving final payments and necessary orders (e.g., Modification to Bond Orders, Probation Release Orders), we schedule equipment removal and return.

This streamlined process ensures effective home monitoring and support throughout the program duration.

The Role of Alcohol Electronic Monitoring Bracelets

Alcohol monitoring bracelets are an essential tool in the criminal justice system, particularly for individuals on house arrest or those who are under supervision by probation officers. These electronic home monitoring devices, often referred to as home monitoring ankle bracelets, provide a crucial alternative to traditional incarceration.

Understanding Electronic Monitoring

Electronic monitoring utilizes advanced technology, including GPS and cellular systems, to track the location and movements of participants. These monitors can transmit data in real time, allowing officers to receive alerts if any violations occur. With the rise of electronic monitoring as a strategy within criminal law, many jurisdictions are implementing these systems to manage individuals who might otherwise be locked in jail or prison.

The Technology Behind Monitoring

Today’s electronic home monitors are equipped with sophisticated software that provides comprehensive location monitoring. These devices help probation officers oversee individuals effectively while minimizing the risk of additional movement outside approved areas. By using wi-fi or cellular connections, the monitors ensure continuous tracking, offering a tight and secure method of supervision.

Monitoring Violations and Alerts

When an alert is triggered, officers can act promptly to address the situation, whether it’s a simple oversight or a more serious violation. The ability to monitor movements means that even if someone tries to evade supervision, the system can detect any unauthorized actions in real time. This proactive approach to monitoring is a key component of the criminal justice system’s move towards more humane alternatives to incarceration.

The Importance of Criminal Law in Monitoring

The implementation of ankle monitors is a significant aspect of criminal law as it provides alternatives to incarceration while ensuring community safety. These devices allow individuals to remain in their homes while still being under strict supervision, facilitating rehabilitation and reducing the burden on the prison system.

In an era where alternatives to incarceration are gaining prominence, alcohol monitoring bracelets and electronic monitoring systems are proving to be valuable tools for maintaining public safety while supporting rehabilitation efforts. As technology continues to evolve, so too will the methods used to ensure that individuals under supervision comply with their court-ordered conditions.
